Article #31 - Meaning of Cubic Ton

What is the meaning of Ton in Cubic Measure, and why does it take 50 feet of square timber

Article #29 - A person's Shadow

Is there any place south of the tropic of capricorn from which a person’s shadow would fall north?

Article #22 - Why does a black pencil on a black slate make a white mark?

Feeling that this question deserved more consideration than was given it by the members of this association, it having been presented to them and rejected without even a verbal answer, I will bring it up again for the purpose of a further investigation.
